IRENE ARTEAGA SÁENZ

Designer and Art Director based in New York.
Her practice is rooted in observation—studying context, behavior, and culture to shape identities that feel specific, considered, and lasting. Each project begins with attention—understanding what exists, and what needs to take form. Identities are built through a careful alignment of typography, image, and material

Emergence speaks to the way small actions, gestures, and encounters slowly become something larger. It holds the idea that nothing exists in isolation—that each experience, each choice, each moment of attention contributes to a greater unfolding.

The symbol takes shape as a simple, handmade lotus in bloom. At its roots, intertwined initials form a fluid base, merging identity with the flower’s ascent from depth into light. It becomes a reflection of growth, transformation, and the quiet way a life or path reveals itself over time.
